By allowing CYBERTEK to repair your device you are granting CYBERTEK permission to perform any action deemed necessary in the attempt to repair your device. Furthermore you are willingly releasing CYBERTEK from any liability for any data loss which may occur, or component failures occurring during attempted repair, testing, or at any other time. CYBERTEK is not responsible for loss of profit or any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damage occurring during or after service of your device.
Please consider before choosing any 3rd party repair agent as any repair made from a 3rd party supplier may void your manufacturers warranty, for more information please contact your device manufacturer.
CYBERTEK technicians will do all they can to repair your device however if the device is unable to be repaired due to unforseen factors, CYBERTEK will refund you the cost of your repair, minus any labour charges. Labour charges for most devices are $89 inclusive of GST but may vary depending on the device and extent of labour.
Please choose any accessories carefully as CYBERTEK is not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item;
* has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
* is unsafe
* is significantly different from the sample or description
* doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed.
Alternatively you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a replacement or a store credit.
Please keep your proof of purchase – e.g. your receipt
All our mobile phone screens come with a limited lifetime warranty. Which means the screen we supply and install is covered for the life of the device. This warranty becomes immediately void if there is any cracks or damage to the supplied part, any signs of liquid damage to the device or if anyone other than CYBERTEK repairs the device. If the CYBERTEK technician deems it replaceable under warranty then CYBERTEK will replace the part in a reasonable timeframe, these timeframes may extend due to low stock with our suppliers.
Battery replacements for mobile phones, tablets and laptops is 3 months. Expected battery life is always dependent on the device, age of device or manner in which the device is used.
All of our factory refurbished devices, smart phones, tablets, laptops etc. come with a 6 to 12 month warranty depending on the device. This warranty entitles you to repair to the device for any faults or defects not caused by liquid or physical damage. All devices are sent back to the supplier for repair or replacement depending on the fault and CYBERTEK is not responsible for supplying a loan device for the time the device is sent away. CYBERTEK is not liable for extended time frames for repair or replacement of the device as all time factors are not in the control of CYBERTEK.
